Fall Fun in the D.M.V. area.

Fall is the perfect time to engage in some outdoor socially distant fun (I cant wait till I can look back on posts like this and laugh at the words socially distant)! I have rounded up some of my favorite activities for the month of October, Enjoy!

It's not fall with out a Pumpkin Patch and farm fun! There are so many options in the area. Just google Pumpkin patch or corn maze and you find endless options. I do however have 2 favorites .

Clark's Farm

This one will forever be near and dear to my heart because it has actually attractions from the Enchanted Forest (yes the one from Cry Baby). In case you don't know the reference The Enchanted Forest was the first amusement park in the US. and there is a movie called Cry Baby with the one and only Johnny Depp. It's a great movie! I was lucky enough to get to go to the Enchanted Forest as a child but by the time I was a teenager it was in ruins. Clark's Farm has made it their mission to restore as much of the old park as possible. They also have a full working farm, petting zoo and a Fairy Forest!

Summer's Farm

This is another amazing Farm option! They have over 40 attractions including a corn maze, slides, Games, pumpkin picking and live entertainment every weekend! You can even rent a campfire for the evening. You can find pricing and ticket info here.

How about a Drive in theater for some family fun or a romantic date night.

Bengies Drive in theater

Right here in Maryland and takes you right back to the 50's and 60's with its vintage charm. This theater has different movies every week and all ticket sales are done online. They have a snack bar or you pay a fee and bring in your own food. There are lots of rules at Bengies so make sure you read on them before you go. This theater is great because you can take chair and sit outside or stay in your car.

DC area has Park Up.

This is a pop up Drive with different movies running every night! Unlike Bengies you are not permitted to sit outside of your car at the Park Up. You can however order food ahead of time so there is no waiting in line. I could not find anything saying you could not bring your own food to this one.

Haunted houses more your thing? I got you covered!

Legends of the Fog

The first drive through haunted attraction in the area! Legends of the Fog is doing a special drive through attraction this year that includes spooky sounds from your vehicles stereo. Tickets are purchased online and start at $25. I don't know about anyone else but I can not wait to give this a try!
