The Classy side of New Orleans

New Orleans has to be one of my very Favorite city's in the US! It has an electric energy that is unlike any other city I have visited. With all the bars and bead throwing it's easy to forget the more sophisticated side of Nola! This city has so much to offer no matter what you are looking for. Keep reading to learn more about my favorite bouge ( in a good way ) spots in this beautiful city.

The Court of 2 Sisters is the perfect place to drink bubbly mimosas, listen to live jazz and try all types of French Creole food! Some of the offerings include Shrimp etouffee, jambalaya and Craw-fish. I prefer to sit outside on a cool morning in the courtyard under a canopy of trees.

The Champagne Happy at Brennan's in the Courtyard was a new discovery for me this trip and I can't wait to go back! We opted for a bottle of bubbly for close to half off and it was presented to us by one of the most fabulous waiter ever!

A trip to New Orleans is just no complete without a before dinner drink at the carousel bar at the Hotel Moteleone . This bar slowly rotates as sip your craft cocktail. Even if the rotating bar is not your thing you will still find a sophisticated area to sip your cocktail in the massive bar lounge area .

This trip we tried a new restaurant called Sobou and it was super yummy with a cool vibe. I had the Duck Leg Confit and it was amazing! The desserts were also to die for!

Last but not least we stumbled upon a new addition to Bourbon Street called Bourbon O Bar The vibe was a very classic speak easy style with hand crafted cocktails that include a Gin Fizz shaken for 6 minutes! I had the best Martini I had the whole trip here and the music was amazing!

With so much to do in New Orleans there is something for everyone!
